No More (Ma Boy) Marks SISTAR19's Return After 11 Years

JAKARTA - K-pop sub unit SISTAR19 inaugurated their career in the music world with a single. Their latest song is titled No More (Ma Boy) whose title may remind the public of their debut, Ma Boy.

No More (Ma Boy) is a pop song that combines dominant drums and bass. With a simple hook, this song emphasizes that nothing is perfect.

The music video features two members: Hyolyn and Bora who are compact dancing in the snow. No More (Ma Boy) was released 11 years after their last mini album, Gone Not Around Any Longer.

This album has two songs, namely No More (Ma Boy) as the main single and Saucy as a b-side written by Hyolyn.

We want to show how much we changed through this new album. We want to show this single is a continuation of Ma Boy's hit. This is a new version of Ma Boy," Hyolyn said.

"Tren di industri musik memang berkembang cepat tapi kami pikir kami mengenggung identitas musikan yang kami miliki," katanya lagi.

To celebrate SISTAR19's return, they held private hearing sessions attended by a number of actors and musicians, including Soyou, Lee Sung Kyung, So Ju Yeon, Paul Blanco, Zior Park, Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, and many others.

No More (Ma Boy) also marked Hyolyn and Bora's latest release after SISTAR disbanded in 2017 with the song Lonely.
