Apart From Cages, Jawa Randu Goats Died In A 15 Meter Deep Well

JAKARTA - After leaving the cage, a Javanese goat fell into a 15 meter deep well in the Jambore Complex, Pondok Rangon Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta. Although he was evacuated, the life of the goat could not be saved.

The incident began when the goat escaped from the cage which was located right next to the well. Then the goat jumped into a well that had been covered with asbestos.

"Asbes could not withstand the weight of the goat and eventually broke. As a result, the goat fell into the well," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Tuesday, January 16.

Then the owner reported to the Damkar office. Officers deployed 4 rescue personnel to handle the evacuation of goats using 1 patrol equipment.

"The evacuation lasted 2 hours. However, after being successfully evacuated, the goat was dead," he said.

Meanwhile, the goat owner could only surrender when he saw that his goat was dead after being evacuated.

"I hope that in the future the Cipayung Damkar will be improved quickly and the response to its citizens will be improved again. For this evacuation, the response is fast," he said.

Later, the dead goat will be buried by the owner.
