Hasto Calls The Presidential Election Once Or Twice Undetermined Prabowo-Gibran
JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said that once or twice the round in the 2024 election was not determined by the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka National Victory Team (TKN).
"One round or two is the people who determine it is not the head of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign team," said Hasto in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA on Sunday, January 14.
He claimed that TKN's hopes for a one-round Prabowo-Gibran victory were okay. Even so, TKN must prioritize political strategies in a healthy and non-political way, divide et impera.
"Yes, it's called ideals, it's okay, the important thing is not to be intimidated. What is done in the determination to realize the target until then you have to divide the unity of development party, doing political divide et impera is unhealthy ways in democracy," he said.
Previously, Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani asked every cadre and volunteer to work hard so that Prabowo-Gibran could win one round.
According to Muzani, the victory of Prabowo-Gibran one round is a must that must be realized. The reason is, by winning one round the Indonesian people will not be divided.
"We have to make sure Gerindra cadres in Karawang, in West Java, throughout Indonesia must ensure that Prabowo wins one round. We must ensure that in the 2024 presidential election on February 14, Prabowo-Gibran will win one round. We must fight seriously, morning and evening, pray to Allah solemnly so that our prayers will be answered by Allah," said Muzani in his statement, Saturday.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has determined three participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.
The campaign period for the 2024 presidential election will take place from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
