Wow! The Great Auction Of Black Plates From The BBC Archives Held This Month
JAKARTA - A large auction consisting of thousands of archival equipment and a BBC black plate will be held this month.
Run by Omega Auctions which has been granted access to the BBC archive The list is filled with rare disks, BBC memorabilia equipment and memorabilia.
This auction is a treasure trove for collectors of the BBC's blacklist and fans.
The things offered include analog devices that are difficult to find and important disks sourced from one of the best music archives in the world.
This isn't an entire complete BBC blacklist archive. It's mostly a duplicate copy of the black disk so the collection can be moved and stored better for the future," talks about the collection, Omega Auctions drops to X (previously Twitter).
The choice of the first auction is currently open to offerings, including items such as BBC stopwatches in the 1930s, neon lobbies' lights, Pink Floyd's rare LP package, the Beatles LP press package 'Please Please Me' and many more.
