The Mayor of Medan, North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution emphasized that the Medan City Government will complete all development programs that have been launched in this area.

"Precisely in December 2024, my term of office and the deputy mayor ended. We promise that at the end of this period all of our development programs will be completed," Bobby said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 9.

His party apologized for the ongoing development, making it difficult for the people of Medan City and its surroundings to carry out activities.

However, the current inconvenience, he continued, is for the advancement of the capital city of North Sumatra Province and the welfare of the people of Medan City in the future.

The Medan City Government has massively continued to carry out infrastructure development to overcome various city problems in this area, including the construction of aunderpass or underground road.

Then the construction of flyovers is an effort to unravel congestion, and build retention ponds in a number of areas, such as Medan Selayang to overcome flooding.

Bobby Nasution also invited the people of Medan City to increase voter participation by giving voting rights to each polling station (TPS) on February 14, 2024.

Bobby said that community participation in this year's election will determine who the leader will be in the future, because it relates to the development direction of development in Medan City.
