900 Jiwasraya Customers Refuse To Be Diverted To IFG Life, Value IDR 188 Billion
JAKARTA - The restructuring process of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) has been completed.
But unfortunately, there are still around 900 Jiwasraya customers who do not want their policy to be transferred to IFG Life.
President Director of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Hexana Tri Sasongko, revealed that of the 900 customers who refused to be transferred, the policy value reached Rp188 billion.
"Those who did not participate in the total were Rp. 188 billion, the policy value. The people are almost 900," said Hexana after attending the Inauguration of the Primary High Leadership of the Ministry of SOEs, in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 9.
Hexana said that Jiwasraya customers who do not want to be transferred to IFG, will have to wait for the process of liquidation or disbanding Jiwasraya.
However, continued Hexana, the process will be carried out after the transfer of the Jiwasraya customer policy is complete as a whole.
Later there will be a balance of closures. But still finishing first, the policy transfer is complete first," he said.

Hexana said the restructuring process had been completed. Currently, he said, there are only policyholders who complete the administrative process.
"So it remains only to complete the latest administration yesterday, as well as those who have been transferred because the 2024 PMN budget will be disbursed in the first quarter. But there has been an agreement that all policies that have been restructured will be moved," said Hexana.
