Rafael Alun Trisambodo Was Also Sentenced To Pay A Fine Of IDR 500 Million To Replacement Money Of IDR 10 Billion
The panel of judges not only imposed criminal sanctions on Rafael Alun Trisambodo in cases of alleged gratification and money laundering. Former officials of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance were also given fines.
"The defendant rafael square trisambodo above is sentenced to 14 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million rupiah, if not paid, will be replaced with imprisonment for three months," said Judge Keua Suparman Nyompa during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday, January 8.
Then, the panel of judges also gave an additional penalty for Rafael Alun in the form of paying replacement money. The amount reached Rp 10 billion.
"Imposing additional penalties to the defendant rafael square trisambodo to pay compensation of Rp. 10,079,095,519," he said.
If Rafael Alun Trisambodo is unable to pay the replacement money, then he will get a substitute law. Mario Dandy's father will be sanctioned for an additional 3 years in prison.
"With the provision that if the defendant does not pay the replacement money within one month after obtaining permanent legal force, his property can be confiscated and auctioned off by the prosecutor to cover the replacement money and in the case that the defendant does not have sufficient property to pay the replacement money, he will be sentenced to 3 years," said Judge Suparman.

In this case, Mario Dandy Satriyo's father was deemed to have violated Article 12 B in conjunction with Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
