DKI KPU Reminds To Move Voters Last January 15

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) reminded that the management of voters will end on January 15, 2024, along with the stipulation of the Permanent Voter List (DPT).

"We urge residents who will move to vote to DKI Jakarta to come directly to the voting committee (PPS) office in the village, in the sub-district, or at the nearest district/city KPU office," said a member of the DKI KPU Socialization, Voter Education and Community Participation Division Astri Megatari in Jakarta, Monday.

Astri explained that the public, especially for the nine categories of moving, chose to be able to apply for a transfer form until D-30 or January 15, 2024.

For this reason, he continued, the DKI KPU urges people who want to move to vote, to immediately process a transfer form to choose what cannot be done online because there are documents that must be verified as a condition.

"Therefore, voters who will take care of moving to vote for the 2024 General Election must come directly to PPS, PPK, or regency/city KPU, by bringing their e-KTPs and supporting documents that include the reason for moving to vote," he added.
