SM Entertainment Announces EXO Plan, CBX Joins Other Agencys

JAKARTA - SM Entertainment released the latest statement regarding EXO's plans for the future. Previously, three EXO members: Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin reportedly joined the agency founded by Baekhyun named I&B100.

"In the future, all eight members will continue their activities as EXO, and we plan to meet fans through various activities," SM Entertainment said via EXO social media today, Monday, January 8.

"This includes EXO fanmeetings scheduled for April, as well as the latest music and performances," they continued.

Baekhyun leaked the news of this fan meeting when he uploaded a video of dancing First Snow with Chen and Xiumin.

Overall, exclusive contracts with updated members are still in effect, and DO (Doh Kyung Soo) whose exclusive contracts expire but agree to participate with EXO activities together and in discussions continue on future schedules, "the agency said.

For Chen (Kim Jong Dae), Baekhyun (Byun Baek Hyun), and Xiumin (Kim Min Seok) in an exclusive contract, we made an agreement with the company that artists can do individual activities separately,' explained SM.

This indicates that D.O. only has a contract with SM for EXO, while CBX still has an individual exclusive contract, but they are allowed to carry out individual activities outside SM Entertainment.

"As before, EXO plans to communicate with fans through music and a good stage, so we ask for support for members. We will work hard for EXO and every member's development, thank you," concluded SM Entertainment.

DO established an agency called Company Soosoo to carry out its individual activities as a singer and actor since last November. Meanwhile, EXO-CBX, which had a conflict with SM Entertainment, found an agreement point regarding their contract.
