New Green Day Song Considered Similar To Pink's So What: Fan: Very Disturbing
JAKARTA - Fans found a resemblance between the intro of Green Day's new song, One-Eyedction with Pink's 2008 song, So What.
The opening riff of themain punk band from Gambi, which was taken from the upcoming album totaled, is considered to be using the notation sequence of Pink's songs.
So What itself was previously considered similar to the classic song Deep Purple released in 1970, Black Night, when it was first released.
However, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong revealed that his idea in the riff came from a different place.
One Eyes starts with the riffs I have a shuffle, almost like the Black Sabbath riffs. lyrically, I only reflect on the bad times of life," Armstrong explained in his press release.

However, many fans have commented on the similarities online. The new Green Day song sounds very similar to the Pink color at the beginning so it's very annoying," wrote someone on X/Twitter.
