Evacuation Of Two Victims Trapped In Turangga-KA Bandung Raya Train Collision, Joint SAR Will Lift To Cut Carriages
JAKARTA - Two victims of the Bandung Raya local train collision with the Turangga train have not been evacuated due to difficult conditions. The joint SAR team has several methods that will be carried out in the evacuation process.
"We will propose to work on two methods," said Head of the Bandung SAR Office, Hery Marantika, as quoted by Kompas TV, Friday, December 5.
The first method, the carriage will be pulled or lifted. It is known, one of the victims was in a carriage that was in a reversed condition and the other was stuck in a carriage.
In this way, it is hoped that the evacuation process will be easier. However, if this method finds difficulties and takes time, continued Hery, another method is to cut the carriage.
"First, if we can pull the carriage or lift it, if it is felt for a long time and it is difficult, we will try to cut it with the carriage body," said Hery.
The Turangga train accident occurred at KM 181+5/4 Babakan Village, Cicalengka Village, Bandung Regency at around 06.03 WIB.
