David Ellefson Said About The Sex Scandal That Made Him Fired By Megadeth: Stupid Time, Now I Can Be Myself
JAKARTA - David Ellefson opened up about the sex scandal that caused him to be fired from Megadeth.
In 2021, allegations against the former Megadeth bassist emerged after several screenshots and explicit videos that Ellefson said had conversations and personal interactions were shared on social media.
At that time, several people said Ellefson had sexual groundbreaking (sexual harassment mode) which made the victim familiar with the perpetrator and led to victims being exploited or manipulated against underage girls.
Ellefson denied wrongdoing at the time by saying that explicit text messages were addressed to adults agreeing and that the woman was not a minor at the time.
That same year, he filed a revenge porn (distribution of pornographic content without the consent of the person in the photo or video as a form of jealousy) against the person he alleged illegally leaked videos and screenshots that sparked accusations against him, and he met police at Scottsdale, Arizona, to file the lawsuit.
That situation has now been resolved where Ellefson took the time to remember the event.
