Erick Thohir Calls Waskita-Wijaya Karya Boss, Discuss What?
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir summoned the board of directors of two construction companies, namely PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk or WIKA, to come to his office.
Quoted from the official Instagram @erickthohir, Erick said the company's board of directors was calling to discuss strategies for the transformation of binsis in the two companies.

Erick encourages BUMN Karya to have a more sustainable operational activity cycle to have a positive impact on the company.
He emphasized that the restructuring of state-owned companies in the construction sector was a priority.
However, Erick admitted that the restructuring of state-owned companies took a long time.
Erick also mentioned the merger process which is a plan to transform BUMN Karya in the future.
"Consolidation of the restructuring of BUMN Karya is a priority, it does take time. We also encourage those who stand alone to exist, of course, in the future they will become a sister company. So holding and children or mergers," he said.

Erick added that previously it had also been discussed in the restructuring involving state-owned banks and PMN.
He said the funds must be used directly to his project.
"Yesterday we also talked to Himbara about being from PMN if there is an increase in capital, we want to enter the project points," said Erick.
On the other hand, Erick also appreciated Waskita and WIKA for collaborating with the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) to be part of this improvement. He also encouraged the mapping of payment or payment of vendors
"I want to ask Waskita and WIKA that we have a rosdmap this year, exactly what kind of two years, what three years like," he said.
