Iranian Foreign Minister Calls Israel's Terror Machine A Real Security Threat To The Region

JAKARTA - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said the Israeli regime's terror machine was a real threat to security and peace in the region.

In a post on his social media account, Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian wrote that Saleh al-Arouri's murder in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, yesterday was a "dangerous terrorist operation" that proved Israel failed to achieve its goal in the war in Gaza.

"The act of abusing regime terror machines in other countries is a real threat to peace and security as well as a serious warning bell for the security of countries in the region," he said as quoted by ANTARA from IRNA-OANA, Wednesday, January 3.

The main Iranian diplomat expressed his condolences to the head of the political bureau Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and the Palestinian people for Arouri's death.

Al-Arouri is a senior Hamas official who served as deputy head of the political bureau. He was killed in a drone attack allegedly carried out by the Israeli regime on Tuesday night.
