Mahfud MD Doesn't Really Believe In The Results Of The Presidential Election Survey, This Is The Reason

JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president number 3 Mahfud MD revealed the reason he did not really trust the results of the 2024 Presidential Election survey currently circulating.

The first reason, said Mahfud, is that people hide the choice of presidential/cawapres candidate they will choose and that choice can still change.

"On the day of voting, it returned to his conscience. 'According to my conscience, this is suitable'. Usually it changes on that day," Mahfud said after a pilgrimage to Bung Hatta's grave at Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2.

He did not deny that this always happened, especially during the 2012 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. At that time all surveys always favored the Fauzi Bowo-Nachrowi Ramli pair.

However, the pair Joko Widodo-Basuki Tjahaja Purnama managed to beat Fauzi-Nara. This is what makes Mahfud distrust the survey results.

"Everyone who is Foke (Fauzi Bowo), lost too. The survey was wrong," he said.

When the survey institute was asked about the results that did not match reality, they often argued that the survey had been conducted two weeks ago.

The second reason Mahfud did not really believe that the presidential election survey was God's factor which could win the presidential/cawapres presidential candidate pair in the 2024 presidential election.

"It is certain that the country has a One Godhead. Of course, we know that God is able to regulate, God willing, he will give his best," concluded Mahfud.
