Microsoft's Copilot App Now Available On IOS And IPadOS

JAKARTA After launching the Copilot app for Android devices on the Play Store, Microsoft is now adding a Copilot chatbot on iOS and iPadOS. This application can be downloaded on the App Store.

The Copilot app is similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT so users can ask any questions, ask chatbots to summarize text, and request image creation through the DALL-E3 integration feature.

The quite prominent difference between ChatGPT and Copilot is the GPT version used. ChatGPT does have two versions, namely GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, but users have to pay to experience the GPT-4 version and access additional features.

Meanwhile, Copilot only comes with the latest GPT-4 version and big language model (LLM) from OpenAI. Although the GPT version used is equivalent to the Plus ChatGPT version, Copilot can be used for free or without the need to subscribe.

From the description of thepilot app on the App Store, it is explained thatpilot comes with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Microsoft claims Copilot is able to respond to questions or commands quickly, complexly, and quickly.

The software, which comes with 41 language support, including Indonesian, can be downloaded on iPhone and iPad devices with a minimum version of iOS 15.0 and iPadOS 15.0. Mac users with MacOS 12.0 versions can also access Copilot.

Previously, Copilot was better known as Bing Chat. This name change was made in November, just months after Microsoft used the name Copilot for the chatbot feature in Windows 11.

In addition to launching app versions for Android and iOS, Copilot chatbots are also present on websites. Although Copilot is a re-branding of Bing Chat, both brands can be accessed on separate websites.
