West Jakarta Bawaslu Follows Up PSI Billboard Case Collapses Over Riders In Kembangan

JAKARTA - The West Jakarta General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) will coordinate with the local Panwaslu regarding the case of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) billboard that fell on motorists in Kembangan on Tuesday (26/12).

"It will be coordinated with friends in the sub-district (Panwaslu Kembangan)," said the Coordinator of the Public Relations and Relations Prevention and Supervision Division between the West Jakarta Bawaslu Institute, Abdul Rouf, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 29.

Rouf said he was not aware of the incident. "Maybe the report has come in, but I don't know what happened yet," said Rouf.

The coordination, said Rouf, is to confirm reports regarding the incident, so that it can then be followed up with the management of the political party concerned.

"Later, when it is with Panwaslu, then proceed to the political party concerned," said Rouf.

A similar incident called Rouf also occurred in Tambora about a week ago with the same political party.

"A similar incident occurred in Tambora, about a week ago," said Rouf.

The driver's leg was seriously injured, so it had to be installed with a gibs.

"At that time we coordinated with the management of the political parties and they came to visit. Yes, give a kind of accountability," said Rouf.

Previously, the police searched the billboards of one of the political parties that befell motorcyclists in Kembangan, West Jakarta on Tuesday (26/12).

The incident was caught on CCTV and uploaded by the Instagram account @warga.jakbar on Friday at around 15.00 WIB.

"We will investigate the information later," said the Head of the Kembangan Police, Kompol Billy Gustiano when confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
