Australian Couples Arrested For Opening Foot Treatment Practices In Denpasar

DENPASAR - A husband and wife couple of foreign nationals (WNA) from Australia were arrested by officers from the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Denpasar, for allegedly opening the practice of foot treatment in the Denpasar City area, Bali.

Both have the initials NP and his wife have the initials NJ. This couple was secured on December 27 when the Denpasar Immigration officer, Bali, held an Operational activity entitled "Jagratar,".

"The person concerned is suspected of opening a practice of leg treatment and its location in Denpasar City," said Head of the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Denpasar, Tedy Riyandi, Friday, December 29.

This couple, allegedly abused a residence permit in the Denpasar City area, Bali, and they were arrested for pocketing a Limited Stay Permit Card (KITAS) as an investor but allegedly opened a foot treatment practice in the Denpasar City area.

Meanwhile, regarding this couple, how long has it been open to the practice of treatment and for the patient, whether it is a fellow foreigner or a local resident, it is still being investigated.

"Then for two foreigners with the initials NP and NJ who are Australian citizens, a further investigation and examination is currently being carried out," he said.

"We urge people throughout Bali Province to proactively monitor and report various types of violations or should be suspected of violating the rules committed by foreigners to the authorities so that firm action can be taken," said Tedy.
