KPK Moves Detention Of 6 Suspects Of Bribery Of Palu RAPBD Jambi Money, Including The Former Governor's Wife
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has transferred the detention of four suspects in the bribery case for the 2017-2018 Jambi Province RAPBD hammer. The four of them were transferred from the KPK Detention Center in Jakarta to the Jambi Class II A Prison.
"They are Luhut Silaban, Edmon, M. Khairil, and Mesran transferred from Jakarta to Jambi Prison with a deposit status for the trial process later at the Jambi Corruption Court," said Head of Jambi Class II Prison Yunus Maraden Simangunsong in Jambi, Thursday 28 December
In addition to the four names that have been mentioned, the KPK has also transferred other suspects in the same case, namely the wife of former Jambi Governor Rahima and Meli Hairiya. Both were entrusted to the Women's Prison in Muarojambi.
The process of transferring Rahima and Meli after the plane they were traveling in arrived at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport on Thursday, December 28 at 11.30 WIB.
Previously, Rahima was detained at the same time as the suspects Luhut Silaban, Edmon, M Khairil, Mesran, and Meli Hairiya.
In this case, the KPK has determined that the suspects violated Article 12 or Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.
