Samsung Innovation Campus Returns To AI Training

JAKARTA - Samsung Indonesia is again holding the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), which is expected to produce more digital talents who are superior and needed by this nation to encourage Indonesia's digital transformation and economy.

In the fifth year, Samsung also expanded the participant target to student groups and presented new training related to Artificial Intelligence (AI).

SIC Batch 5 2023/2024 carries the theme A Journey Towards a Sustainable Future with a special topic, namely: Social issues & Wealth inequality, Education, and Environment & Renewable Energy.

Here, the participants will be equipped with the latest technology expertise, such as coding & programming, Internet of Things, and most recently, they will also be equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) expertise.

After the training provided, the participants of SIC Batch 5 will be directed to design innovations and prepare prototypes of their technology products to solve various problems related to the three topics.

"Samsung Innovation Campus expands participant targets to students from various majors and adds Artificial Intelligence learning in the hope that this program can contribute to donating new digital talents that suit industry needs and also create innovations to solve existing social problems," said Ennita Pramono Head of Corporate Citizenship Samsung Electronics Indonesia, quoted Thursday, December 28.

As a leader in the world of technology, Samsung wants to contribute to printing young digital talents who have technological skills that are relevant to the times and needs of industry, through educational programs.

Since its implementation starting in 2019, SIC has been attended by 5,919 students and 642 teachers from 341 SMK and MA throughout Indonesia. SIC Batch 5 2023/2024 will start from December 2023 to July 2024.

Coding & Programming training will take a total of 140 hours with material in the form of Phyton programming & Libraries, probability & static, machine learning and deep learning, bagging, Rugle, C Programming, Arduino, and Algorithm Problems Solving Basic.

SIC also held IoT Course with IoT device material, platform & analysis data, Linux & C&Java, Networks & protocols, Node.js & Sensor control, and Phyton programming, with a total of 100 hours of training. Next is AI Course with a total of 100 hours which includes machine learning and data learning.
