Receiving Reports Of Logistics For Elections Without Guards, Bawaslu Reminds KPU About Potential Problems

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) reminded the General Elections Commission (KPU) to closely monitor the distribution of election logistics to various regions outside DKI Jakarta Province.This was said by the Head of Bawaslu Rahmat Bagja after recently receiving a report on the transfer of KPU logistics without an escort and without a guide at all."There has just been a report on the delivery of the KPU logistics without any escort at all. Only one driver and the truck were left to look for the address of the KPU warehouse. This is just one report," said Rahmat at the Bawaslu Office, Jakarta, Thursday, December 28, which was confiscated by Antara.Bagja said the location of the logistics destination was not even far from the DKI Jakarta area, so his party asked the KPU to make sure the same thing did not happen again.The head of Bawaslu reminded the KPU to always coordinate with local security forces so that the distribution of all election logistics can run safely and smoothly to the remote TPS post."So, even though the logistics are not ballots, it indicates that there will be problems if KPU friends are not open and do not contact the local security forces," he said.
