The Changcuters Refuse To Give Fans High Expectations Ahead Of The 20th Anniversary Of Work

JAKARTA - The Changcuters will celebrate 20 years of working in the national music industry in 2024. What the band from Bandung has been going through is a separate achievement, especially since they have remained solid without changing personnel for two decades.

However, The Changcuters don't want to talk about a breakthrough that might be done or what they want to achieve in 2024. They don't want to have too high expectations on their fans.

"From our experience yesterday, we didn't want to make many promises, but we made efforts," said Tria, vocalist of The Changcuters at Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta some time ago.

Everything has been prepared, yes we just have to see the situation. God willing, there will also be a 20-year concert. So yes, we'll see the situation, because we want to be close to the election too. After the election we will see," said Dipa, bassist of The Changcuters.

Tria prefers to talk about the 19-year journey of The Changcuters which she calls a blessing from the Almighty. He wants to be grateful for what the band has achieved so far.

"The five of us are still an extraordinary blessing, which seems not enough just to say thank God and thank you. I think we have to be better people, yes, we have to try, and that gratitude must be practiced," he said.

If they have to reveal a resolution in 2024, the Changcuters personnel hope that what is being done can run smoothly. However, they do not want to reveal these plans.

"Yes, that was it, our campaign went smoothly. What is certain is that hopefully the single concert for 20 years The Changcuters can be realized, the new album will also come out, yes, God willing," said Dipa.
