Sandiaga Uno Appreciates Private Involvement In The Development Of Sustainable Tourism In Tourism Villages
JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, appreciated the private commitment that supports the development of Sustainable Tourism in Tourism Villages. One of them is Kao Indonesia.
Kao Indonesia handed over support for the Development of Waste Banks to support the Sustainable Tourism Menparekraf for the Central Bira Tourism Village, Sampang Regency, East Java.
Sandiaga appreciated the distribution of Clean and Hygiene Product Kao Indonesia and supporting facilities for CHSE. In addition, the construction of the Waste Bank, which is expected to provide added economic value for the local community.
According to him, this support can help business actors and the community in the Tourism Village so that it can increase tourist interest and develop the potential of Tourism Villages as the main destination for domestic tourism.
"So it is hoped that in the end the tourism sector can grow more," said Sandiaga, quoted from a media broadcast, Tuesday, December 26.
The event was also attended by Representatives of 5 Tourism Villages that won the 2023 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI).
