Shopping Center Sets A Target Of 10 Percent Of Visitors In The Holiday Season
JAKARTA The 2023 Christmas Celebration and the 2024 New Year holiday are important moments for a number of shopping centers in the West Jakarta area, namely Neo Soho, Central Park, and Ciputra Mall to target an increase in visitors by at least 10 percent.
Central Park and Neo Soho Mall Public Relations Nadya Arriana, as quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, December 24, said the target of increasing visitors was 10 to 20 percent compared to the same period last year.
The same thing was conveyed by Ciputra Rida Kusrida Mall's public relations who said the target was deliberately not set too high considering that it was still in economic recovery from the pandemic.
"We are targeting not too much increase because we are also in a condition where everything will recover after the pandemic. So, we are targeting an increase of 10-50 percent, we are already very happy," said Rida.
According to Rida, the Christmas event held by Ciputra Mall starting December 8 has so far attracted the enthusiasm of visitors, with a snow playground equipped with a snowfall in the atrium area called the center court.
"The enthusiasm is very good, judging from the number of visitors, both overall malls, as well as those who enjoy the event fees at the court center," said Rida.
"Because apart from Christmas events, Christmas celebrations, but there is also a new year and there is a long holiday, so most of their activities go to the mall." he continued.
The program and activities presented by the mall manager are used by tenants to reap turnover during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Rida said that not a few tenants also took advantage of the mall's moments and programs by holding promos, one of which was discounted prices, to attract visitors.
"We as managers bring in as many visitors as possible who are expected to also be tasted by tenants. So, we urge tenants to take advantage of this good moment for visitors to come to their respective stores," said Rida.
Moreover, according to Rida, the peak of visitors is predicted to occur on Christmas Day, Monday (12/25). It is known from previous years' reviews, visitors to Ciputra Mall usually come from the church next to the shopping center.
Not only that, Ciputra Mall is also a "spray" for visitors from the Ciputra Hotel guests who are right next to him.
"Usually it's crowded at Christmas. Usually after the church or it can be a church from outside, they usually visit restaurants at the mall to eat with their families, then their children play together," said Rida.
