Anthony Joshua Stop Otto Wallin Only Five Rounds
JAKARTA - Anthony Joshua won the fifth round technical knockout (TKO) over Otto Wallin in a non-degree heavyweight duel at Kingdom Arena, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
Joshua appeared pressing for the first four rounds which made Wallin often cornered. The combination of fast right and left hooks and on target from the Swedish boxer made Wallin waver.
The peak occurred in the fifth round. Wallin received two crushing punches from Joshua. Even so, the British boxer was still able to stand up and finish the fifth round.
However, after Wallin returned to the corner, corner Wallin asked the referee to stop the fight. The 33-year-old boxer was seriously injured, especially in the nose.
