Breaking Up The Brawl In Menteng, Kaspospol Thamrin Injured In The Head

JAKARTA - The head of the Police Post (Kapospol) Thamrin Polsek Metro Menteng, Iptu Aang was the victim of the targets of the brawlers who took action in the Matraman area, Menteng District, Central Jakarta. The victim suffered injuries to the right and left heads until he was sewn up.

From Iptu Aang's statement to VOI, the incident against him occurred when the victim was breaking up a brawl that occurred in the Matraman area on Monday, December 18, at around 22.15 WIB.

"Initially when I broke up the brawl and I appealed to residents from two different RWs to increase (joint the brawl) and become more (rules)," said Iptu Aang, Sunday, December 24.

The victims were also targeted by the perpetrators who were upset with the presence of Iptu Aang in the middle - the middle of the human sea. The perpetrators deliberately directed stones at Iptu Aang until he suffered head injuries.

"The wound on the left head was 8 stitches and the right 2 stitches," he said.

According to Iptu Aang, the brawl that occurred in the Matraman area, Menteng District, has occurred 3 times in a row - along. Regarding the motive, it was known, initially because there was a commotion between two youths from different areas.

"The brawl in Matraman, Central Jakarta, has been 3 times a week. Last Monday at 22.15 WIB," he said.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro confirmed that one member was the victim of a brawl in the Menteng area.

"Kapospol Thamrin Iptu Aang became a victim, a head injury. The incident occurred at the time of the incident, Iptu Aang tried to break up the brawl," said Kombes Susatyo.

After the incident, as many as 12 suspected brawlers were arrested by a joint member of the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the Menteng Metro Police.

"We must strictly enforce the law. There are 12 suspected brawlers arrested," he said.
