Back On Lecce's Track, Inter Milan Leave Juventus

JAKARTA - Inter Milan returned to winning ways after beating Lecce 2-0 in the Italian Serie A match at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, Sunday, December 24 in the morning WIB. The victory made Inter successfully leave Juventus

Inter showed consistency in the competition. After losing against Bologna which ended up being knocked out in the Coppa Italia, Inter returned to track after beating Lecce.

In that match, Inter for the first time since the last 89 matches were not strengthened by Lautaro Martinez. The Nerazzurri captain was again injured in the thigh when he was defeated by Bologna.

Despite losing Martinez, Inter still tweeted strong enough to beat Lecce. The victory made Inter stronger at the top by pocketing 44 points.

They also left Juve, who previously won 2-1 over Frosinone. Now, Inter are four points ahead of Juve who are in second place.

While Lecce is ranked 12th with 20 points. This is certainly a disappointing result for Lecce, who previously won 2-1 over Frosinone.

In that match, Inter, who fielded the front line duo of Marko Arnautovic and Marcus Thuram, failed to show his sharpness. Martinez's absence made it difficult for Inter to score goals.

Lecce himself focused on strengthening the defense. However, defender Yann Biseck finally broke the deadlock after breaking into Lecce's goal in the 43rd minute. The 1-0 score for Inter lasted until the end of the first half.

In the second half, Inter showed consistency. However, the hosts had to wait until the 78th minute to increase their advantage.

Inter's goal was produced by Nicolo Barella. The score changed 2-0 and lasted until the end of the match.
