Gibran's Vice Presidential Candidate: Manado, The Most Tolerant City, Must Be An Example

JAKARTA - Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka appreciated Manado City as one of the most tolerant cities.

"It must be an example, Manado is the most tolerant city. Can celebrate Christmas safely, comfortably, and livelyly," said Gibran, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, December 24.

Gibran was present accompanied by his beloved wife, Selvi Ananda, and spokesman Emil Dardak and Arumi Bachsin.

In his remarks, Gibran asked young people to take advantage of the demographic bonus by 2030 in order to increase national productivity.

"That means that most of Indonesia's population will be at a productive age. That's a great opportunity to increase national productivity," said Gibran.

In addition, Gibran said, he and the Indonesian Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto will focus on developing human resources (HR) to take advantage of the demographic bonus.

"Therefore, tomorrow we will focus on building human resources, young children. We want to prepare a golden generation to go to Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.

The results of the draw and determination of the serial number for the 2024 presidential election participants, the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
