Number Of MotoGP Spectators 2023: Mandalika Circuit Does Not Increase Significantly
JAKARTA The number of spectators in the 2023 MotoGP season has increased. The Mandalika Circuit also increased, but not so significantly.
In the latest report, Crash detailed that in general there were 2,857,925 spectators who attended all MotoGP in the 2023 season. This figure is up from 2,427,928 spectators in the 2022 season.
The increase was included on Saturday due to the sprint race which began to be introduced in the 2023 season. The existence of the sprint race made the audience on that day rise to 197,489 spectators.
The graph that saw the increase was also seen on the day the main race took place or to be precise on Sunday. On that day the number of viewers was recorded to have risen to 157,295 people.
In the report, spectators who attended the Mandalika Circuit experienced a decline on Saturday. The audience who attended on Saturday in the 2023 season was 21,284 people or shrank 8,738 spectators.

Meanwhile, on the day of the race there was an increase. The increase was 10,206 people or from the previous 62,923 spectators in 2022, up to 73,129 this year.
Overall, the number of spectators present in Mandalika in 2022 and 2023 is no striking difference. There was only an addition of 128 people from 102,801 up to 102,292 spectators.
Overall, all circuits have improved this year. The decline only occurred in the Argentine race, the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, and Australia at the Phillip Island Circuit.
However, the decline in audiences in Argentina was not so significant because it was only 721 people. Meanwhile, the event in Australia decreased by 19,771 due to bad weather.
