Pulang Salat Isya Terburuk Sungai Batanghari, Warga Jambi Ditemukan Lemas Pagi Harinya
JAMBI - A resident named Amri (51) who was reported missing due to being hit by the Batanghari River, Jambi Province, was found safe on Thursday, December 21 morning. The victim fell on Wednesday, December 20 evening.
Head of the Jambi Kornelis Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas) said Amri was found limp on the riverbank two kilometers from where he was reported to have fallen into the river.
"The victim received a medical examination from the SAR team. After being examined and did not suffer serious injuries and his condition was stable, he was taken back to his house in Sengkati Gedang Village," said Kornelis in Jambi, Thursday, December 21, which was confiscated by Antara.
Amri reportedly fell into the Batanghari River in the Senggati Gedang Village area, Mersam District, Batanghari Regency, when he was about to return from the Isha prayer at the mosque on Wednesday, December 20 night. Residents immediately moved to look for him.
Because the victim has not been found, the search effort continued on Thursday, December 21 morning with the support of two search teams. One team tried to find victims in the river and one team conducted a search on the ground.
The search effort involved personnel from the Search and Rescue Office, the Regional Disaster Management Agency, the TNI, and the National Police as well as residents.
