KM Vision Global Drowns In Sumenep, 13 Crews Rescued, 8 Still Wanted

The Mataram SAR Team, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), evacuated dozens of crew members of the Vision Global Motor Ship (KM), the Tuban-East Java-Maumere route, East Nusa Tenggara which sank in about 25 NM south of Long Island, Sumenep Regency, East Java (East Java)."These 13 crew members were rescued by KM Niki Mila Utama, while eight other people have not been found," said Head of the Mataram SAR Office Lalu Wahyu Efendi in Mataram, quoted from Antara, Thursday, December 21.He said the victims were found in a life raft at 23.51 WITA and then taken to Bima Port, NTB."Tiba di Pelabuhan Bima kemarin (Wednesday), selanjutnya dilakukan pendataan korban selamat di KSOP Bima," kata Wahyu Efendi.Meanwhile, the Mataram SAR Office deployed Rescue Boat (RB) 220 Mataram to assist the Surabaya SAR Office in carrying out SAR operations on the remaining victims who had not been found. The data on survivors are Cross Victory Siridaeng, Anesta Dermawan Eka, Alfian Yusuf, Mohommad Solihan, Marcelo Cristian Manuel, M. Fajar Ekoardi, Hollar Rohman, Bintang Fajar, Fajara Wicaksono, Wisnu Adhi Wardana, Hasan Ibrahim, Achmad Zuhairi Septyan, and Muhammad Taufik.
