Anticipating Spike And Buildup Of Commuter Line Passengers On New Year's Eve, KCI Prepares 24 Additional Travels

Anticipating the accumulation of commuter line train passengers at a number of stations on New Year's Eve 2024 celebrations, PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) has prepared 24 additional train trips.

"We are ready to add 24 trips. Regarding the schedule and certainty, we will definitely publish it after later confirming the activities in the DKI Jakarta area," said KCI Vice President Corporate Secretary, Anne Purba to reporters, Wednesday, December 20.

Currently, PT KCI admits that it is still coordinating with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency. KCI has also carried out engineering, so that when DKI needs a New Year's Transportation tool, the KCI is ready with 24 trips.

"We have prepared 24 additional trips when there are New Year's activities, we have prepared 24 trips," he said.

In addition, in order to anticipate security disturbances and others, KCI said it would create a joint integrated security post with security forces in each region.

"Posko will be made on Thursday, December 21, 2023 to January 7, 2024. We are coordinating with the police, regional areas and we are also employees here to come down. The command posts are made at all stations," said Anne.
