Otto Wallin Confident In Silence Anthony Joshua

JAKARTA Otto Wallin feels confident ahead of the heavyweight fight against Anthony Joshua in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this weekend.

The two boxers are scheduled to meet in the ring in an event titled 'Day of Reckoning' on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

The Swedish boxer said he could make a surprise in the fight later. He has confidence that he can beat Joshua.

"There should be no need to question (I am confident in defeating him or not). Of course I am confident. Otherwise, I will not take this fight," Wallin said as quoted by Eurosport.

Otto Wallin has recorded a total of 28 professional fights in his career. Of that number, he secured 26 wins (14 knockouts) and drew and lost one each.

The only defeat he got when he met Tyson Fury in 2019. At that time, Wallin put up a fierce fight in 12 rounds.

"I feel like I've shown in the past that I'm a good fighter. I gave Fury a very good fight and I'm proud of my job," Wallin said.

Joshua and Wallin are the main battles on cards that also feature duels between former world champions Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker.

Joshua and Wilder will most likely fight early next year if they both beat their opponents. Both of these names have long been expected to meet in the ring, but have never materialized until now.
