The Round Of 12 Of Liga 2 2023/2024 Rolls January, 3 Clubs Still Don't Have Venues
JAKARTA - The continued round of Liga 2 2023/2024 will start on January 6, 2024. A total of 12 teams will compete for positions to qualify for the semifinals to be passed with a round robin system in a cage and away format.
The news about the continuation of Liga 2 2023/2024, including this schedule and format, was shared directly by the President Director (Managing Director) of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), Ferry Paulus.
He conveyed this after holding a League 2 Club Owners Meeting at the Century Athlete Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 evening WIB.
"We have set regulations at the beginning of the last competition. The round of 12, both regulations, schedules, club determinations, and schemes already have details and clubs already know the information," said Ferry Paulus.
"The match will be held on January 6 and ends on February 3, 2024. Later, after the General Election (Pemilu) we will inform the club again for sure," continued the President Director.

Of the 12 teams that have passed, they will be divided into three groups, namely Group X, Y and Z, each containing four teams.
Later each group winner will advance to the semifinals of Liga 2 2023/2024. One remaining slot will be contested through the best second place.
In such a format, there is one problem that Ferry Paulus expressed before the follow-up took place.
He said that it turned out that there were three clubs that did not yet have a venue to hold home matches.
The three clubs that do not yet have the venue are Deltras Sidoarjo, Malut United, and Persiraja Banda Aceh.
This situation occurred because the stadium where they were based was being renovated or used in conjunction with other clubs.
"For venues, there are some (clubs) that still don't have one because they are related to several stadiums that are still being renovated. Some are used by several clubs at the same time," explained Ferry Paulus.
However, Ferry Paulus said he would soon seek alternatives for the club whose home stadium is in the process of being renovated. He has seen several options that can be used for the three teams above.
So, we will look for alternatives for League 2 clubs that have no venues. We are negotiating. For Persiraja to finalize at the Harapan Bangsa Stadium, we will automatically play in the afternoon."
Deltras is being scheduled to get an alternative stadium, either Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) or something else because Gelora Delta is being renovated.
"Kalau Maluku masih belum. Ada beberapa alternatif, tapi belum pasti. Kami akan memberikan batas waktu tiga sampai empat hari ke depan agar ada keputusan," kata Ferry Paulus.
Malut United, said Ferry Paulus, may be based at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang. However, this is uncertain because it is waiting for the results of the permit.
If the stadium could be rented until after Eid al-Fitr 2024, it might be used by North Maluku.
