Police Family Joins Legislative Candidates, Kaltara Police Chief Reminds Neutral Members
TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya reminded his members not to get involved in practical politics in the 2024 General Election.
This is related to the existence of a family of personnel who participated in the contest as legislative candidates.
"We always remind that Polri personnel must be neutral, for those who have families who run as legislative candidates must be truly neutral and not involved," he said, Tuesday, December 19.
This was revealed by the Kaltara Police Chief when holding a meeting with Kaltara Police personnel who were part of a good family as husband, son and son-in-law of the legislative candidates.
"In addition to not being involved in practical politics, it is forbidden to distribute basic necessities while campaigning for the legislative candidate, let alone using police equipment," said the Kapolda.
