According to Edward, the current stage related to malaria management in the two villages is evaluation.

"The focus on handling malaria in the two villages, the number of malaria cases has decreased very significantly," he said.

He explained that the evaluation was still being carried out because the closing of the activity book ended on 27-28 December 2023.

"We are happy that the interventions we have carried out with the Ministry of Health have resulted in a very significant decline," he said.

He added that the total number of cases in Jayapura Regency decreased very remarkably, before the trial reached 47,443 cases, then decreased to 23,721.
