Ganjar Reply Residents Ask For Sustenance: No, It's Money Politics

Presidential Candidate (candidate) number 2, Ganjar Pranowo was asked to share sustenance by a resident who is in Gunung Bakal Hamlet, Sumberarum Village, Magelang, Central Java (Central Java), Sunday 17 December.

Initially, the resident asked whether Ganjar did not share money with the public.

"Don't share it, sir," said the resident to Ganjar.

Ganjar, "For what?"

"Share money, distribute sustenance anyway," replied the resident.

Hearing this, Ganjar then summoned the local election supervisory committee (panwaslu) who supervised him campaigning in Magelang.

The former governor of Central Java then asked directly to the Panwaslu whether he could distribute money to the public while campaigning.

"Panwas, is there a question 'Mr. Ganjar distributes sustenance, can you share money or not?'" Ganjar asked the Panwaslu, confiscated by Antara.

The Panwaslu emphasized that the distribution of money is not allowed.

"Mboten (no) yes," said Panwaslu.

The resident then asked the reason why he could not share money. Panwaslu also said that the distribution of money is money politics or money politics.

"Why can't it be? Because it's money politics," added the Panwaslu.

The politics of money is a form of giving or promises to bribe someone either so that the person does not exercise his right to choose or so that the person concerned carries out his rights in certain ways during the general election. Purchase can use money or goods.

Ganjar explained to the residents about the meaning of money politics.

"You know? Money is money. Money politics means money politics. That means, it's not allowed," explained Ganjar.

After knowing Ganjar's explanation of money politics, the residents gave up their intention. They finally shook hands.
