Police Chase Robbers Who Beat Women With Baseball Sticks In Duren Sawit

JAKARTA The Duren Sawit Police are still developing the robbery action experienced by a woman with the initials RA (21) on Jalan Raya Kalimalang, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. One perpetrator is still being chased, while his colleague has been arrested first and is a suspect.

"The other perpetrator with the initials R (30) is still being hunted," said Duren Sawit Police Chief, AKP Sutikno to reporters, Friday, December 15.

In the action, suspect R played a role in beating victim RA by repeatedly using a baseball bat. The victim had asked suspect R not to take his motorbike.

The victim was also willing to give money. However, suspect R immediately took the victim's green sleptang bag.

After successfully seizing the victim's bag, R then took JA away towards Kaliagung, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit.

Then R gave the victim's bag to suspect JA. Then the victim was sick, reported the incident to the Duren Sawit Police.

During the raid, the police only arrested the suspect with the initials JA on Jalan Swakarsa I, No.56, RT 02/RW 03, Pondok Kelapa Village.

However, during the raid, R was not at the location. Until now, perpetrator R is still being hunted. The identity of the perpetrator has also been known to the police.

RA (21) a woman became a victim of sadistic robbery on Jalan Raya Kalimalang, RT 03/03, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta. As a result of the incident, the victim RA suffered bruises due to stone shocks to his head, arms and body.

It was later discovered that the two perpetrators with the initials JA (22) and R (30) were fugitives. One suspect with the initials JA was arrested by a buser member of the Duren Sawit Police, while R managed to escape.

Suspect JA was arrested by Aipda Mursidi who led the arrest. Then the perpetrator JA was taken to the Duren Sawit Police for further processing.
