Citroen Launches E-Berringo 2024 Edition, Utilities And Efficiency Become One

JAKARTA - Citroen has again expanded its electric vehicle (EV) distance by presenting the latest e-Berlingo. The electric MPV car comes with several changes in a more modern and futuristic style for the 2024 edition.

Reporting from Autocar, Tuesday, November 12, the model features Citroen's latest logo in the middle accompanied by the manufacturer's latest three-segion LED lights. The front culling section is also made smaller than other models.

The French manufacturer also provides two-size rims, 16 inches and 17 inches, depending on trim selection. Meanwhile, the line fell on the back of the roof providing a dynamic silhouette of the car.

New Berlingo 2024 is available in five body colors, including New Kiama Blue and Sirkka Green, which complements Kaolin White, Perla Nera Black, and Steel Gray at a price that has not been announced.

Moving to the inside, the manufacturer also redesigns the dashboard with a large size that gives a strong impression. The dashboard blends with a 10-inch high-definition central touch screen as well as a new digital instrument cluster.

The bottom of the center console, containing dental displacement functions and driving mode selection, electric parking brakes, Start buttons, and 2 USB ports, also has an innovative storage compartment that can be used for inductive smartphone charging.

The steering wheel is also redesigned which is with improved interior completion quality. Then, there are audio system control settings and cruise control on the steering section with prominent Citroen logo graphics.

With the Citroen Advanced Comfort package, the car offers practicality and its ability to transport up to 7 people. With a three-line configuration, e-Berlingo is equipped with three independent chairs that can be shifted and folded in the second row.

This car also provides maximum utility with varying loading space, ranging from 775 liters to 4,000 liters. Installation of the ster-Berlingo battery below the floor means that the loading capacity is always maintained. Access to Berlingo is simplified with two large sliding side doors equipped with an electric window.

Speaking of core power, the MPV has a 100 kW electric motor and the latest battery which reaches 50 kWh so that it can cover a distance of up to 320 km based on WLTP calculations. According to Citroen's claim, the cruising range of this model is up 20 percent from before, making this model have high efficiency.

The e-Berlingo model has charging capability with a charger of 7.4 kW capable of charging up to full charging within 7.5 hours and 11 kW within 5 hours. Meanwhile, with a fast charger of 100 kW, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent within 30 minutes.
