The Prosecutor's CPNS Test Fraud Brain Arrested By The East Java Prosecutor's Office
The East Java High Prosecutor's Intelligence Team (Kejati) arrested a man with the initials AW (60) who was suspected of being the mastermind of fraud in the test of prospective civil servants (CPNS) of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office 2023. Head of the East Java Prosecutor's Office, Mia Amati, revealed that AW's arrest was carried out after her party secured a participant in the CPNS of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office with the initials EYD who was caught wet using false identities. "According to EYD's confession, officers finally chased AW, who was suspected of being the mastermind of the CPNS test syndicate in East Java. Even though he had tried to escape using a black Innova car, AW was finally arrested on Jl Raya Gulon, Magelang, Central Java, Friday, December 8. The results of the examination, AW, are known to have not worked alone and are suspected to involve other parties in launching their actions, so that it can convince dozens of victims. "In the examination, the AW perpetrator did not work alone and it is suspected that there was involvement of other parties in carrying out their actions so that they could convince their victims, which amounted to be around tens of CPNS," Mia explained.

In this case, AW is suspected of violating Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud and Article 263 of the Criminal Code concerning Counterfeiting Letters or the ITE Law with a maximum imprisonment of 6 years. The flow of AW's actions is included in the scope of general crimes, so the East Java Prosecutor's Office handed over this case to be handled by the East Java Regional Police.
