Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez Attend Fundraiser for Gaza

JAKARTA - Taylor Swift and her friends attended a comedy show in New York City on Friday night. All ticket proceeds from this event were donated to humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Reporting from Dailymail, Wednesday, the pop star, the Shake It Off singer, wore her signature red lip as she left the Brooklyn Academy of Music after comedian Ramy Youssef's performance on December 8.

Youssef, who was born in the Big Apple to Egyptian parents, announced on November 12 that all proceeds from the final 12 nights of his More Feelings tour would be donated to the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA).

The comedian, who has been outspoken in calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East, said the charity was working to 'provide humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.'

Gigi Hadid, Swift's friend whose father is from Palestine, commented: 'Legend'.

Meanwhile, the ANERA website describes the group as a non-governmental organization that provides aid to the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Jordan.

The charity says it has 'no political or religious affiliation.'

Taylor Swift remains silent about the ongoing war between Israel and the Hamas militant group.

Swift's spokesperson has ignored multiple requests for comment from DailyMail.com.

The 33-year-old singer was accompanied by singer Selena Gomez, actress Zoe Kravitz and model Cara Delevingne. Gomez's representative also did not immediately respond for comment.

The group then joined The Queen's Gambit actress Anya Taylor-Joy for dinner at Brooklyn pizzeria Lucali.
