Google Improves Spanish Language Capabilities On Gboards And Search Engines With AI Integration
JAKARTA Language improvement is one of the achievements that Google continues to strive for. This great desire can be seen from Google's commitment to the LEIA Royal Academy project in Spain.
Through this project, Google wants to maximize the use of Spanish to help 590 million Spanish speakers worldwide. Apparently, Google managed to achieve their goal through the latest announcement.
On Tuesday, December 12, Google announced that it had combined a lexical repertoire or language treasurer of vocabulary in the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) Dictionary into the Gboard application.
In addition to using the official linguistic reference, Google has also added a Royal Academy Spanish Dictionary to Google's search engine on the website. The integration of these two dictionaryes is able to operate well.

With the addition of the RAE Dictionary in the Gboard Artificial Intelligence (AI) language model, the application is able to correct typos more quickly and provide better word recommendations.
Changes between English and Spanish when typing did not experience any problems. That is, Gboard is not confused about which one is English and which one is Spanish.
Meanwhile, the integration of the Royal Academy Dictionary allows search engines to explore meaning in a word, synonym, to examples of making sentences in Spanish. This dictionary is supported by 23 Spanish academics so that the search results are much more perfect.
