Circulating Methamphetamine To Village In Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan, 3 Men Arrested By Police

However, this is the police's attention that drugs are increasingly spreading.For information, Kapuas Hulu Regency is a district that is directly adjacent to the Malaysian State, which is very vulnerable to the smuggling of illegal goods. One of them is drugs.According to him, it is necessary to cooperate with all parties to eradicate illicit drug trafficking, not only the duty of the police, but vigilance and community care are also very important in prevention efforts."Currently, the three suspects who have been arrested are still undergoing legal proceedings at the Kapuas Hulu Police Narcotics Investigation Unit," said Hendrawan.Head of the Kapuas Hulu Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, IPTU Jamali, explained that the three suspects involved in drug trafficking each had the initials SPD, MD, and ABS.The arrests were made in two different locations, namely Nanga Boyan Village and Nanga Danau Village, Boyan Tanjung District.Jamali said that from the SPD suspect, his party (police) had secured evidence of methamphetamine with a weight of approximately 0.87 grams.Then, from the suspect MD, evidence of methamphetamine weighing 1.47 grams was also secured which was divided into five plastic clip packages. Meanwhile, for the suspect ABS, three packages of methamphetamine weighing 3.46 grams were secured.
"We can imagine that methamphetamine is circulated in villages that threaten the young generation of the nation's successors, so we need to eradicate and prevent it together," said Jamali.Jamali said, the three perpetrators of drug trafficking cases in the Boyan Tanjung sub-district are currently still undergoing legal proceedings. The three were charged with Article 112 paragraph (1) and Article 114 of Law number 39 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
