KTM Prepares 390 Latest Adventures For Himalayan Royal Enfield Tandingi

JAKARTA - The 300 cc to 500 cc engine adventurer motorbike is becoming a trend in the motor vehicle industry. After Royal Enfield launched the latest Himalayan, KTM is preparing for its tougher rivals.

The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer gave him 21-inch wire-spoke rims up front and 19 inches behind. The body panel section features a tougher and more aggressive design by taking the design language from 450 Rally.

The front features the double projector front light setup, flanked by the U overturned DRL lighting. Front glass is also optimized so that motors get aerodynamic flow.

To optimize driving on the off-road realm, the height of the seating place is made more upright and tall. Foot climbing is also made higher in order to accommodate the driver's feet so that the driving position becomes more ergonomic.

In order to improve driving stability, a USD telescopic fork front suspension from a tunable WP with longer travel is given. Meanwhile, the back uses an off-set monoshock setup presented with rebound and preload adjustments.

Then, KTM gave him an exhaust from 390 Duke to improve the maximum disposal system. Also presented is an instrumental cluster on the side of the driver that is more modern than before.

In terms of performance, it is estimated that 390 Adventures have a DoHC 4V engine with a liquid-cooled 399 cc that is united by transmitting six accelerations, so that it can generate up to 45 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque.

In India, the motor will be produced at the Bajaj factory. Although there is no information regarding the price tag, this adventure motor will be launched in 2024 in India.
