Firli Bahuri Ethics Session Will Start December 14, KPK Council: We Will Marathon
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean said the inactive KPK chairman Firli Bahuri would soon be tried for ethics. The trial will be held starting Thursday, December 14
"After the Hakordia commemoration, Thursday is December 14, 2023 at 09.00 WIB and we will have a marathon trial," Tumpak said at a press conference at the ACLC KPK building, Friday, December 8.
"The trial is planned to continue to be held," said Tumpak. And we hope that by the end of the year it will be completed," he said.
Tumpak further said that there are three hearings of Firli's ethical violations that will be held. First, God willing, related to his meeting with former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo which led to allegations of extortion.
It is known that Firli has been named a suspect by the Polda Metro Jaya regarding the alleged extortion. He has been questioned twice by the suspect but has not yet been detained

The alleged second violation is related to the dishonest submission of the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN). Finally, it is related to the rental of a house on Jalan Kertanegara Number 46.
The house was rented from a nightclub entrepreneur, Alex Tirta. The property rental fee reaches IDR 600 million.
"We hope that by the end of the year it will be finished," concluded Tumpak.
