Amazon Will No Longer Support Payments With Venmo Starting January 2024
JAKARTA - Digital wallet Venmo announced that Venmo will no longer be able to be used as Amazon's payment method, but will still be available to users until January 10, 2024.
Due to the latest changes, Venmo can no longer be added as a payment method. Venmo will remain available to users who are currently activating it in their Amazon wallet up to 10/01/24," the company wrote in its announcement.
The announcement comes after more than a year since Amazon announced that it will begin allowing customers to make payments via Venmo on its website.
In a statement, a PayPal spokesman said that Venmo and Amazon had agreed to deactivate Venmo as a payment option to pay on Amazon at this time.
