Chery Optimistic Selling 1,000 Units Per Month In Indonesia In 2024
JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) has a big ambition to increase its sales by 2024. They plan to sell 1,000 units every month, an ambitious target announced by PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) Vice President Harry Kamora.
"Next year, we have Omoda E5 and another newcomer, so we want a target of 1,000 units in one month," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 6.
Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), during January-October 2023, Chery sales were recorded at 3,603 units in wholesale and 3,418 units on the retail side, even though they only offered three products, namely Omoda 5, Tiggo 7, and Tiggo 8.
Meskipun tahun ini, Chery telah mencatatkan penjualan yang solid, perusahaan ini tetap bermbiasa untuk mencapai target yang lebih tinggi apalagi Chery akan memperkenalkan beberapa model baru pada tahun depan.

To support this ambition, Chery plans to expand their dealers network across Indonesia. Currently, they have listed 50 dealers, with a target of reaching 60 dealers by the end of this year. For next year, Chery plans to add about 40 more dealers, bringing the total to 100 dealers by 2024.
In addition, Harry Kamora emphasized that the addition of dealers is not only quantitative, but also qualitative. By increasing the number of dealers, Chery wants to ensure the best service and support for their customers.
"Today we are recorded at 50 and until the end of that year there are 60 dealers. Next year we are still calculating how many more dealers are because CSI wants no more than a lot, and approximately 40 dealers will attend," he concluded.
