The AMIN National Team Carries 2 Priority Programs To Eradicate Corruption

JAKARTA - The National Team for Winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Timnas AMIN) carries two priority programs for eradicating corruption, namely strengthening the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and implementing the anti-corruption curriculum at all levels of schools.

"The most important thing is that corruption is very difficult to eradicate in Indonesia, because there is a big problem," said AMIN National Team Expert Council Chairman Hamdan Zoelva, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, December 7.

Therefore, strengthening the KPK is the first short-term program for presidential and vice presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.

Because Zoelva assesses that currently the KPK is much weaker than before the revision of the law related to the KPK.

"I think it is clear in our program that one of the concerns is the KPK. We will again strengthen the KPK, reform the KPK law, of course it will involve the DPR," he said.

Furthermore, for long-term programs that are no less important in eradicating corruption, the application of the anti-corruption curriculum at all levels of education, from the lowest to universities.

He said it was important because when the nation's successors have integrity in the state, it is certain that corruption will decrease.

"The AMIN mission vision will include anti-corruption education from the lowest level. So building an integrity nation since they were kindergarten, elementary school and so on, this is a long-term program in order to build national integrity," he said.
