Duet With Robbers, Father And Child In Maros, South Sulawesi Found Dead

The ranks of the Resort Police (Polres) of Maros Regency, South Sulawesi are investigating a suspected criminal case of sadistic robbers which resulted in two people being killed in a shophouse on Jalan Poros Maros, Turikale District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi.

"There are allegations (criminal acts of murder) were found (bodies). This morning (the incident) was at 04.30 WITA in this shophouse," said Maros Police Chief AKBP Awaluddin as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 6.

The two victims were identified as Makmur aged 53 years (father) and Abdillah Makmur (child) after 26 years died on the second floor of the shop house (ruko) where he lived.

Due to this incident, the police immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) to look for clues after the incident.

Subsequently, the Dokpol team evacuated the two bodies of the victims to the hospital for autopsy purposes. The victim was the son and father who died tragically and was allegedly stabbed by the perpetrator.

"After we received information from the family, and Alhamdulillah, the ranks of the Maros Police, the Turikale Police, and at the Resmob Resmob of the South Sulawesi Police immediately processed the crime scene," said the police chief at the scene.

Regarding the motive for the murder, his party did not know for sure and so far the results of the crime scene processing are still in process, including examining witnesses and the family who heard and saw the incident at that time.

Separately, the victim's child with the initials UH (23) who became an eye witness saw and heard the tragic incident and said it was suspected that two people had committed it.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the tomb entered at dawn by hearing a commotion occurred on the second floor of his house.

He said he peeked at the incident and saw his father (Makmur) and brother (Abdillah) getting into a fight with someone else who was already in his house.

At that time, he heard his father's voice screaming and telling him not to go down to the second floor.

"I was prohibited from going down, then I went into my sister's room to hide. I called my aunt Jumi, there was an incident at home, and my aunt called the Maros Police. I saw the person (the suspect) was thin at first glance, wearing trousers," he said..

Moments later, his uncle on behalf of Udin came home, and when he arrived at the scene, but he didn't want to go down, later after the crowd arrived, the witness came down and found his father and brother dead lying covered in blood.

Currently, the location of the incident has been fitted with a police line for investigation purposes. The police have even moved to pursue the perpetrators whose characteristics have been identified based on the statements of witnesses, both the victim's child and local residents.
