Left Behind By Two Personnel, The Jansen Makes Sure To Keep Working

JAKARTA - The band from Bogor, The Jansen announced the departure of two of its personnel, Adduy (drums) and Karina Restiani (guitar, vocals).

Through The Jansen's official Instagram account, it is known that Adduy left the band in October, and Karina Restiani left in November.

Two of our personnel and friends, namely Aduy and Karina Restiani, are no longer with The Jansen, as of October (Aduy) and November (Karina Restiani)," wrote The Jansen in an Instagram upload, seen Wednesday, December 6.

"The band or management has discussed with Adduy and Karina Restiani, and decided to continue their respective journeys and goals," he continued.

The Jansen stated that the decision was taken for the common good. The personnel stated that they would respect the decisions of each personnel.

Although The Jansen is currently only inhabited by Cintarami Bani Satria (vocals, guitars) and Adji Pamungkas (bass), they stated that they should continue to work as a band.

"We also appreciate and are responsible for the decisions made for the common good," said The Jansen.

"The rest, we will continue to walk and work to be able to meet all of you in the future. Hopefully this message can be received, friends are also well understood," he concluded.

Until this article is written, it is not yet known whether The Jansen will recruit new personnel to fill the vacancy left by Adduy and Karina Restiani.
